Lock adapters BMW E46 - serial wishbones

Steel lock adapters for BMW E46 are designed for standard control arms and serve to significantly increase the steering angle during drifting and spirited driving. This is a simple and functional front axle upgrade that improves control over the car at large steering angles.

The adapters are CNC machined, ensuring a precise fit to both the knuckle and the ball joints. The zinc coating increases corrosion resistance and extends the lifespan during both regular and more demanding use.

During installation, it is necessary to shorten the steering rod and tie rod end by approximately 1 cm. The car body remains untouched. In some cases, depending on the condition of the knuckle or casting tolerances, it may also be necessary to modify the mounting bolt to prevent it from touching the shock absorber bracket.

The adapters widen the track by approximately 2 cm per side and allow for a steering angle of approximately 55 degrees. They are suitable for drift builds, street projects, and cars prepared for amateur motorsport.

Important Notice
