The carbon fiber front splitter (front air dam) for the Corvette C6 Z06 is designed to significantly improve the aerodynamics of the vehicle's front end. It reduces lift, increases stability, and enhances grip at high speeds and during cornering.

The integrated splitter creates a high-pressure zone above the surface and a low-pressure zone beneath the vehicle, generating additional downforce. It also includes an undertray to optimize airflow under the vehicle without compromising brake cooling.

An extension of 2” (≈5 cm) ensures an even more effective aero effect.
