The APR hood vent for the Ford Mustang S650 is a functional upgrade designed to efficiently extract hot air from the engine bay and improve overall vehicle cooling.

Under high load, heat accumulates in the engine bay, negatively affecting both performance and component longevity. This vent allows for faster heat extraction, thereby improving the cooling efficiency of the engine, radiator, and other systems.

Compared to the OEM solution, it has a higher profile, which increases air extraction efficiency while also giving the vehicle a more aggressive look.

It is made from CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced polymer) using pre-preg technology, ensuring high strength, low weight, and resistance to high temperatures.
