The DBW delete kit for the 1JZ-GTE VVTi ETCSi engine allows the conversion of the electronic throttle (drive-by-wire) to fully mechanical control. This is a practical solution especially for modified vehicles, swap projects, and motorsport applications where direct throttle response is desired.

After installation, the electronic throttle control is deactivated and replaced by a mechanical system that provides immediate throttle response without electronic intervention. The solution also includes an adjustable mechanism for manual idle tuning.

The product is especially suitable for projects where an aftermarket ECU or a modified ECU system is used. When used with a stock ECU, error messages or performance limitations may occur.

Installation requires modification of the throttle body, including disconnecting the internal mechanism, which allows full mechanical control over the air intake.
