Installation with 3M™ tape PX5011F proceeds in four steps:

• cleaning the surface with the enclosed 3M wipe
• applying the enclosed 3M primer
• removing the protective layer from the pre-prepared tape
• attaching the part

3M™ Acrylic Foam Tape PX5011F is made of acrylic foam and is designed for mounting accessory parts in the automotive industry. It features high adhesion even on problematic surfaces.

PX5011F has excellent adhesion to low surface energy (LSE) plastics and most automotive paints. Thanks to its viscoelastic structure, it can compensate for tension and differences in material expansion during temperature changes.

Unlike conventional foam tapes (PE, PU), it better compensates for differences between bonded materials.

High resistance to car washing, high speeds, extreme temperatures, humidity, and impacts, as well as weathering.
